Rebecca Ferguson, born Rebecca Louisa Ferguson Sundström on October 19, 1983, in Stockholm, Sweden, is a celebrated actress known for her strong and resilient characters in various films and TV shows. Raised bilingual in Swedish and English, Ferguson's interest in the performing arts was nurtured from a young age. She attended Adolf Fredrik's Music School in Stockholm, graduating in 1999.

Before her rise to fame, Ferguson worked as a model from the age of 13 and engaged in several dance forms, including ballet, tap-dancing, jazz, street funk, and tango. She even taught Argentine tango at a dance company in Lund, Sweden.
